What a Mess
The gospel is messy. Grace is not something that is cut and dry or black and white. The love and mercy of God works beyond what our human…minds can understand. ¶ Frankly, I’m grateful for that. That means there’s nothing that can separate me from His love. He loves me despite my failings. Jesus is the perfect example of grace, mercy, forgiveness and acceptance. ¶ The same goes for everyone. God is working to restore and redeem everyone of our lives and our families. Don’t let the past get in the way of you turning to God. He loves you no matter what you’ve done or are currently struggling with.

The Vine
In order to live a life that is according to God’s plan, we have to remain in God. That means we have to be connected to the source of life…. ¶ When we isolate ourselves from God, we then don’t bear fruit. ¶ What does that mean? That means that we do nothing for God. We’re a useless branch in the grapevine. ¶ We may claim to be followers of Jesus, but we aren’t producing fruit. ¶ No one knows that we follow Him. ¶ We may say all of the right things / know all of the stories / be able to argue and defend our “beliefs”… ¶ But we haven’t truly ever been connected to the vine.Brett MeredithMar 3, 2015
Chromebooks?
For years now, I’ve been a total Apple apologist. I’ve used Macs, iPhones, and iPads. I will (hopefully) never leave Apple ecosystem, but…there is one niche technology that I’m growing to love: Chromebooks. ¶ If you’ve never considered one, I highly recommend them! They are fast, streamlined, affordable, and efficient. If you’re looking for a budget computing device, seriously look into Chromebooks.Brett MeredithNov 10, 2015
Somebody Save(d) Me
In my Bible reading, I’m in Jeremiah. Right now it’s all about the Lord pronouncing His judgment on Judah for their constant disobedience…. God describes all the terror and judgment that awaits them. ¶ After I finished that, I continued on to the NT section of my reading, which was starting at 1 Thessalonians. I was floored when I came to verse 10 of chapter 1: ¶ “And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God’s Son from heaven — Jesus, whom God raised from the dead.
